TATTOO REMOVAL
Saline solution is a common, effective approach to lightening tattoos.
Our pigment removal is effective and safe using only saline and the body’s natural immune response- no lasers. This can be helpful for those who have had very old permanent makeup done using outdated techniques, or for those who have botched work they are hoping to correct.
There is no predetermined number of treatments as every individual is different. Usually 2-4 sessions are required for a full removal, however, it can be less or more. There must be a 8-10 week waiting period between each removal treatment.
Removal can be done on eyebrows, eyeliner, lip line, and small body art tattoos.
FAQs
What is Saline Removal?
Li-FT saline products have recently been developed to remove unwanted pigment from tattoos. This service is done using the same traditional equipment (machine, needles, etc) used in the tattooing process. However, instead of pigment, this saline solution is implanted into the skin. It is formulated with the highest quality of natural ingredients, resulting in a skin-appropriate lightening product with an objective of minimum sessions for success.
How effective is the removal?
Clients should expect two to four procedures before they see full results. Clients must be realistic in their expectations, not everyone can achieve a full removal, however, they can still expect real lightening of the tattoo.
Why is Saline Brow Removal preferred over Laser?
There are many reasons why Saline Tattoo Removal is better than laser.
Saline is: cheaper, less painful, more natural and safer on the body.
When a laser is used for removal, all of the removed ink is absorbed into the body but with saline removal, most of the ink is lifted up through the surface of the skin.
Each laser machine only emits certain wavelengths of light, which means that certain machines can only break up certain colors of ink. Laser is also unable to remove white because when an object appears white, it is reflecting the entire spectrum of visible wavelengths of light and not absorbing light. Saline removal is color-agnostic, which means it works on ALL colors of pigment.
When utilizing Saline Removal, your brow hair will remain intact. Laser tattoo removal will remove the hair on your brows and it may or may not ever grow back.

AFTER - CARE
You must heal a minimum of 8 weeks between each removal sessions and 12 weeks before re-tattooing the area.
Keep the treated area dry
Avoid exercising, swimming, sweating, gyms, high public traffic areas such as hotels, airports, grocery stores, etc.
Avoid contact with the procedural area directly with hands that have not been thoroughly washed.
For several hours, and in some instances longer, the wound may weep lymph blood and fluid. These fluids can be blotted off by applying pressure (no rubbing) with a clean paper towel or tissue
The procedural area should be cleaned with a saline only
Topical cosmetics may not be applied over the procedural area to coverup or hide the appearance of the wound. Cosmetics may contain ingredients that are contraindicative to healing wounds, may contain bacteria
Keep the tattoo lightened area dry when bathing. This is more difficult for body art tattoos. While showering, people who have had cosmetic tattoos lightened may turn their back to the shower spray and gently blot off any moisture with a paper towel.
Under no circumstances should the crusts that develop over the wound be removed.
Itching and flaking may happen during the first 14 days post procedure.
If you have any unexpected problems with the healing of the skin following your appointment, please contact us immediately, to discuss further instructions.
